In thinking and planning your website redesign consider the asthetic (look and feel) and functionality elements of your new website redesign, try and also consider:
Website Elements
- Look and Style - How it looks, Brand consistancy (fonts, colours, imagery) and does it appeal to your target audience (not neccessariy you!)
- Navigation - Can people get to where they want to go easily and quickly
- Funtionality - Can you update it and add features when you need to
- Features - Tools and information for your customers to benefit from and keep them coming back
- Technology - Will it need to talk to or integrate with other forms of media, is it to be browsers sensitive, what connections speeds do you need to cater for
- Marketing Message - What does your customers or clients need to see to make them to react and do what you need them to do?
- Search Engine Optimisation - Relevant keywords in pages specific content so you can be found by the right people

- Marketing Message - Provide your customer with an up front value proposition that is clearly stated:
- Include a persuasive promise to promote loyalty and credibility
- Highlight a unique offering that will differentiate your site from competitors
- Content - Keyword rich based off your keyword strategy, (products, services, locations)
- Images - Use to capture attention and direct visitors to key areas
